It's a very primitive mechanism, blame a neighbor, blame God. Nobody is out to get you, it's the unfolding of evolution. Blaming gives your power away, be forgiving instead of vindictive, see the comic side. "A strong person takes responsibility, a weak person blames." There's an eagerness to move and a resistance to change the status quo, blame is intoxicating.
